UPDATE - Last Sunday of the Month (May 28th) Dash 'n Dine 'n Dash

Elaine getting ready to remount 'Pooh' after brunch and a walkabout at Harrison Hot Springs. Purpose was to add break in miles for the engine and to identify other items for sorting. Still getting used to the 2.95:1 final drive (2,400 rpm at 80 kmh/50 mph is different). At this stage the engine wants to be at about 3,000 rpm to climb steeper grades in top gear, which means +100 kmh/60 mph. So we down shifted often. On leaving Harrison Hot Springs and just after getting onto the Lougheed Highway (7) west of Agassiz on came the BMW club members out for a drive to Harrison. Mostly newer BMW's but a few oldies tossed into the stream of cars. Among them, ONE MINI Cooper S which flashed us on seeing the classic Mini head on. Only a few miles further west around the bend came a stream of Vancouver Mini Cooper Club MINI Coopers/Cooper Ss, headlights ablaze as they too headed for Harrison. Pooh's dimmer switch was busy flashing the younguns and got big waves in return.
