UPDATE - May 15th - Mini and trailer coming together as planned.  Kudos to John G. and Murray G. for body, upholstery and detail work on the trailer!

1380 provided 60 psi oil presuure on cranking engine for first time.  Will be fired up Tuesday night the 16th.  Tim K. provided real assistance late in the day getting drive axles, hubs, flanges, rotors, calipers and pads installed up front.

My early morning, before most people go to work, was aimed at reducing the thickness of a nicely prepared aluminum spacer for the HIF SU carb and Mini Spares big bore intake manifold.  A test fit Sunday proved it was too thick (carb hitting firewall).  Brad Zimmerman at Haney Automotive Performance (they have 2 CNC machines) took off 200 thou in minutes.

Then my fussing with carb, manifold bulkhead clearance, relocating brake and clutch lines and relieving firewall behind dash began.
