UPDATE - June 13th - two days before departure for Prescott and MMW, followed by transcontinental drive to MME in Frederick Maryland.
I have tried to "break everything" to be sure it all works as planned. Yesterday, while heading for oil/filter change, timing/valve clearance check etc. the new fan belt came off??? [never happened to me before] Roadside adjustments were made, but radiator, oil cooler, starter out etc. so crank damper/pully could come off to remove separated factory timing vane (all three rivets had been sheared by belt jamming and it was "floating loose").
Can we go now?
